Overview
Blur And Red Pills (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application.
Data Collection and Processing
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Blur And Red Pills operates entirely on your local machine. When you import your social media archive:
- All data processing happens locally on your device.
- No data is sent to external servers.
- No data is stored in any cloud service we operate.
- No data is shared with third parties.
- No analytics or tracking is performed.
- No crash reports are collected.
Your social media archive data remains completely under your control. The App never sends it to us or to any third party. If you choose to import a file you keep in iCloud Drive, on a network share, or in another cloud service, your device retrieves that file for the App to read on-device — the App and its developer never receive your data.
Local Processing
The App analyzes and displays your social media archive files that you explicitly provide. This processing occurs entirely offline on your device. We have no access to, visibility into, or ability to monitor your data.
Third-Party Services
Blur And Red Pills does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or backend services. The only third-party components it includes are open-source libraries that run entirely on your device (for on-device machine learning and for reading compressed archive files); none of them collect data or connect to the internet on their own.
Internet Connection
The App does not connect to any servers operated by us, and it never sends your data to us or to third parties. It can run fully offline. An internet or network connection is used only by your device’s operating system — not by the App — if you choose to import a file that lives in iCloud Drive, on a network share, or in another cloud service; in that case the system retrieves your own file, from your own account, on your behalf, and the App reads it entirely on-device.
The optional “Local LLM” features can connect to an AI model server that you run and configure yourself (such as Apple Intelligence, LM Studio, or Ollama — localhost by default), and you control these connections entirely. The App never contacts servers operated by us or by third parties.
Your Rights
You maintain complete ownership and control of your data. You can delete the App and all associated data at any time. We have no ability to access your data after the App is uninstalled.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy.
